Family RV Life
Hit the open road. Minimize expenses with tiny-home living on wheels. Maximize experiences.
You can see the appeal, but this isn’t a vacation for us. We still have to work on the road, prep meals, road-school our boys, and keep everyone busy so we don’t drive each other crazy in our tiny home.
How do we balance RV Life? What does RVing as a family actually cost? What do you need to consider before getting on the road?
Housesitting and Petsitting
Petsitting as a family comes with responsibilities for the pet and property, and free accommodation in exchange. It teaches our boys life lessons about meeting new people and taking on responsibility.
We’ve learned how to make housesitting and petting part of our overseas travel as well as domestically with our RV.
We’ve housesat in 7 countries including Canada, USA, England, France, Germany, Switzerland, and Scotland (and looking forward to many more)
Overseas Travel
Traveling overseas as a family brings on a whole new set of opportunities to learn about culture, language, currency, and history.
Learning about the people and geography of a location from a book is great, but learning to plan and navigate travel there gives our boys a hands-on experience that sticks with them differently.
We used to imagine a trip overseas would be incredibly expensive, so we’re here to share all of the tips and tricks we learned so your family can explore the idea of overseas travel.

What to Pack for RVing in Baja, Mexico

We've been RVing full-time as a family of 5 since 2018, so gadgets and gifts for RV owners are one of our favorite topics. Almost all of our RVing friends have a story about an awkward RV gift that someone gave them with good intentions or an RV gift that they've...
